Sheboygan SOUP (Support Our Urban Projects) is a community-based, crowdfunding dinner organized by volunteers who want to help the community feel empowered to improve the city we all call home.
How does it work? Five community members present their ideas on projects that they believe will better our community. Attendees are encouraged to donate at least $5 at the door, and will receive a soup dinner and a ballot. Vote for your favorite project, and ALL proceeds from the evening go to the project that receives the most votes.
How can you help? As this dinner is to support community projects, we want to hear from the community! Do you have an idea on how to make Sheboygan an even better place to live? Do you know a coworker, family member, student, employee or neighbor who may have ideas? From public artwork to neighborhood gardens to community events, let us help you make your ideas a reality.
